How To Get Your Ex Back Advice

My Journey Of Overcoming Relationship Breakup

I’m sincerely happy that you have visited my site. I know that if you have made it here you are suffering with the pain of a broken relationship and likely having getting back with ex feelings or wanting to move on with your life. Almost 20 years have passed since my marriage ended. I can still recall the overwhelming pain I felt when going through my breakup because my husband dumped me for another woman.

At the time of my breakup, the Internet had not fully evolved into the massive network of information that it is today. Trying to find information on how to deal with my breakup was almost impossible for me at that time. My husband and I moved away from my hometown after our marriage. So at the time of my breakup, I was without the daily support of my family because long distance phone calls at this time were expensive and, needless to say, cell phone technology was in the infant and design steps during this time. Basically, I was on my own in dealing with perhaps the toughest situation in my life.

For several months following my breakup, I felt totally overwhelmed and definitely depressed. The presences of joy in my life had vanished. Although I had my job and friends, there has never been a time in my life that I felt lonelier. Looking back today on my struggles during this time, I can well see how someone like T.W. Jackson, might have been an immense help for me.

My emotional state was extremely fragile. I was overflowing with how to get your ex back feelings. Tears seemed to be a part of my daily life. My thoughts were constantly seeking ways on getting back together with ex. The refrigerator was crammed full of an array of junk food and my cassette player was continually bellowing tunes that left my broken heart feeling even more devastated. Somehow I managed to make it into work each day, but after work I would go straight home and essentially cut myself off from the world. Often, taking the phone off the hook was the first thing I did after stepping through the door.

Although distance made daily communication with my family impossible, their support in letters and weekly calls were helpful to me. Whenever we communicated, they continually offered their encouragement and support. Life is not perfect for any of us. Family loved ones had problems in their own lives they shared with me, as well. When I began focusing on their problems, my own problems began to take on a different perspective. As this happened, I began to embrace my faith, which sadly, had taken a back seat in my life.

Each day, I began to get emotionally stronger. I started taking small steps to reconnect with my friends. I began thinking about my appearance, which had deeply suffered. I took a huge step and had color added to my hair and got a fresh new hairstyle. The dark clouds that seemed to be enveloping my life were beginning to disperse and rays of sunlight were finally starting to appear. As the rays of sunlight became stronger in my life, my self-esteem improved and joy once again began to edge its way back into my life.

After almost an year had passed since my breakup, I finally had the decision on which path my life would take, whether to pursue how to get your ex back feelings or move on with life. Truthfully, I can say that the decision somewhat unfolded for me because the relationship between my ex husband and his girlfriend grew and eventually  lead to marriage.

Making the decision to pursue getting back together with ex, or move on with your life after a breakup is indeed extremely difficult. It was a long hard journey for me, but do know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. The turning point for me came when I was able to reconnect with friends and shift my focus away from my own problems to focusing on others.  I came to accept the fact that my husband had moved on, but life would be OK and was still good.
